Iron Creek Truck & Trailer is accepting applications for the position of Parts Person / Parts Technician. A few years of heavy truck industry experience would be preferable, but for the right candidate we would work to get you up to speed in our industry. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 or more years retail counter sales experience selling all makes heavy truck and trailer parts. Our retail parts store is growing at a remarkable pace, and one of the secrets to our success is carrying a high volume of inventory so that there is a good chance our customers can visit and leave with the parts they need instead of having to wait or have to drive into a larger center to obtain their requirements. This actually makes the parts persons life quite a bit easier, instead of constantly disappointing customers, there is a higher percentage of positive engagement in our store. This job is located in Daysland, and would be particularly suited to residents of Flagstaff county, South Beaver County, Eastern side of Camrose County, or even North end of Paintearth County.

Job Details
This position is for retail parts sales to customers either by phone or in person in store. Assisting the customer to find the right parts to fulfill their requirements is a major part of the job, using the numerous resources we have for this purpose. We don't demand upsell or dangle incentives for sales volume, we want you to sell the customer what they need, suggest upgrades or related parts when required, and generally make the sales experience as positive as possible for our customers. Inventory control and purchasing are other aspects of this position.
